What makes acne scars disappear?

My acne has cleared up but I have been left with unsightly scars. What has been proven to make these disappear? (Besides laser treatments!)

Well if they are deep indentations you will need something serious to help with that.
If they are just red still a bio-peptide cream may help. I use one at night and it has really helped fade the redness. Other than that regular exfoliation will help your skin turnover faster, leading to quicker healing. Use moisturizer- dry skin takes longer to heal.
