I know ‘prevention is key’ but what happens if you’re like me and have a tendency to pick at things and then you get a nasty scab over what was originally just an annoying little pimple? Is there any way I can counteract the scarring?

The scab is fine.. Just don’t rip it off (that’s what causes the scarring)

I’m thinking that there is probably and ex-foliating cream of some sort. Can someone recommend one?

I only have a few scars, and they are not very deep, but all the same I would like to get rid of them – that is the story.

ok..so..i have acne like every teenager && also i like to pop them and pick at my face…so it leaves scars..i also get acne on my upper back & shoulders..which i also pick with ,pop, && that leaves gross looking scars that make me insecure…&& i don’t know what to do about it….&& another thing that questions me that my skin gets very dry..&& mainly its on my breast where my skin gets really dry…& i tend to get black heads on them…i am going to see a dermatologist about it…i just want to see if i can gets some hints to what it is..&& if anyone has a treatment i could ask her about…mainly i just want 2 know…if theres an affordable acne treatment that treats acne scars on the face,chest,back & breast (that you’ve seen gives good results personally)…if so this would really help….ALOT!!!…thankx a bunch…:-D

I don’t acne that much anymore but when i did get it, it left alot of scars.
Should i ask my doctor to prescribe me something. I cant do laser, chemical peels etc… too expensive.

I’ve been trying my best to get rid of my acne, and it seems to be working. I’ve been drinking about four water bottles a day and washing my face. Any tips?

I finally got rid of my acne but now I can see my scars more than ever and they are making me almost as unhappy. Is there anything I can do? I know of laser treatments but does anyone have first hand knowledge of there being a noticeable difference? I use maballine mineral foundation right now and I use clinique pore minimizer and that helps a bit but it adds to the cakey-ness of the face. I talked to a cosmetic doctor and she said I’d have to get a micro laser peel. Thats fine, but do i have to receive 6-8 treatments? Their so costly! I am very fair skinned. I am about the color of Alicia Keys. So, it really shouldn’t affect my skin. Cant she just go deeper with the microns or something so i dont have to take so many treatments.
