I’ve suffered from severe acne scars and it’s ruining my life and I am so SICK of the way I look. I’m 29 and I’m at the age where I should have a husband and I look in the mirror and think, who the hell is going to want me.
My dermatologist gave me a lame answer and I’ve looked on the internet but I would like to talk to a real person. I’d like to go to another dermatologist but I’m wondering if getting a second opinion is worth it, I’ve been disappointed so many times.
Is there a procedure that will cure SEVERE acne scars?
I’m willing to endure sexual torture every day for the rest of my life, I don’t care, as long as it makes my skin perfect and smooth again.
What is the best procedure available for severe acne scars?
Could plastic surgery help?
Could it be that my dermatologist is stupid and I should seek a second opinion?
She was really unsympathetic to my depression related to acne.
If you can help me thank you!!!

My acne is getting a lot more under control, thanks to Proactive, or so I think. I do however have a lot of scars, which make me look like I still have a ton of acne. I need a good product, preferebly under $20, that i can purchase at the store.Acne scar solutions and no shine would also be helpful. Basicly anything to make my bad skin look good!

Apart from the irritation and trauma that a sufferer has to face because of acne, there is yet another element which causes him as much, if not more, agony. This pertains to the scars that acne often brings in its wake. Trying to prevent these and then trying to eliminate them once they have appeared, is a cause of great concern to the concerned individual. The reason for so much concern is that while acne is thought to be a temporary condition, the lesions and scars which form are perceived to be of a more permanent nature.
There are, no doubt, treatments available these days which are quite effective, but some types of acne cause deep scarring which aren`t possible to cure. This is why, to avoid the psychological trauma and the expenses of trying to treat the lesions and living with the disfigurement, it is so important to avert acne scarring.

Acne is a problem that most people will experience to one degree or another especially during puberty. In its severest form it can leave permanent scarring that will last last a life time and can be a real cause of emotional stress and anxiety especially if it is very prominent on the face. Fortunately there is a solution in the form of an acne scar cream.
The scars that are left by acne are defined by the shape in which they occur. The most common type of scarring is known as ice pick scarring, a type of scar which is pointed and deeply indented into the skin. The scars may also be box shaped, concave or wavy. It doesn’t matter what type of scars you have, however, the depth of them is what really determines how visible they are going to be.

Acne affects as much as 80% of teenagers and others in their
early twenties, while most get out with only a few minor acne
scars, some even without any at all; there is also a notable
percentage that suffers from acne scars.
There are two types of skin problems caused by acne that can be
recognized as acne scars, one is the red pigmentation that
appears after acne has healed. These contrary to popular belief,
are not scars, rather, these are post-inflammatory lesions which
occurs as the acne heals, and these can be present for up to
6-12 months. If however the pigmentation that you see lasts
longer than the said period, you may be facing acne scars.
