The tissue initially sits slightly higher than the surrounding skin, but retracts as it heals to become level with the remaining skin.

We all have them. I happen to REALLY have them- usually at any given time there are about 6 on my face, and usually located on my cheeks. I also have some scarring that I fear will never go away. But throughout the two years that I’ve had this problem, I’ve learned how to perfect the method of covering them up.
