Pls reccomend only nice cream or medicine- those which are tried by yourslef.

Alright guys! I’ve had it with my blemishes and acne. Sometimes it’s okay, and sometimes it’s just bad. Especially after shaving. The worst places are on my neck and my forehead and upper-back/shoulders and chest usually. My forehead looks like it’s almost scarring and is always drier than any other part of my body, along with my shoulders and upper-back. I wonder how so many young adults my age have a perfectly acne-free, non-drying, scar-free face. It bothers me quite a bit. haha. Anyways, I have a pretty great diet, I drink a lot of water, I take a shower usually every morning, I exercise at least 2 days a week. What’s going on here?? I mean, of course it’s got a lot to do with genetics and what not, but my life style is pretty healthy. I use acne medications, but I usually test one for about a month or two, and then do nothing and nothing at all has changed, and I sometimes try another after awhile, and still nothing changes. Those chemicals don’t work on my skin, so those kinds of treatments are out of the question…. So… what about accutane? my friend was on it, and he is one of the happiest guys, but he was really depressed, but after he was done, he had pretty much no acne. I’m naturally mildly depressed, nothing being active and being around people can’t solve. It might worsen that depression and could have long term side affects… I’ve heard that it comes back wayyy worse after you stop using it, and harms your body, etc, etc. ANYWAYS, after all of that, what would you reccomend? Should I go on accutane? should I try some other type of medication? I’m 19 now, and it’s just pathetic that it’s never really cleared up. Anyone have a little insight on this? Thanks =)

on my back mostly n on my chest too theres a big one.. its from scratching the nodules n bustin them it was a few years ago, im on accutane now and no more acne but the scars.. really embarassing .. and i wouldnt mind leavin the shirt off 2 get these farmer tan away.. any scar ointments or anything to make them go away? something from the local pharmacy?

I’m a 15 year old girl. I’m desperate to get rid of my acne marks as fast as possible. I ordered proactive and am getting it in about 3 days to help with my light acne but I need help with my scars!
I can’t afford laser treatment and stuff, so PLEASE, if you have personally found something that works quick and is cheap and won’t break my face out tell me! Please I’m begging.

I have been suffering from acne for a long time. Not just little whiteheads that go away. I consistently get cystic (under the skin pustules that get swollen and red) acne and they have left really bad scars and I am really self conscious about it. I eat pretty healthy and I exercise and I am wondering about Isotretinoin (Accutane). If you think its worth it? Experiences?

I am 39 and have acne scars, not as bad as some but enough to bother me. I took accutane when I was a teen and it first came out. It worked splendidly and I had no scars or acne until I was 21 and got pregnant, 3rd time, and started to break out again. I did not with the other two pregnancies. So I started taking accutane again and it didn’t work that time and I don’t break out anymore but the scars are painful reminders and I hate makeup. Does anyone know of anything, by trial and error or trial and worked, if there is something I don’t know of that will help, not completely take them away. I know that is impossible and I am not getting a chemical peel. My aunt did and it was PAINFUL and didn’t do anything good at all. Please only intelligent answers, this is a personal thing and I don’t let it bother me around people but it does bother me when I look in the mirror. Thank you!
Been there and done that with the Vitamin E and it clogs my pores and doesn’t help, I use cocoa butter all over my body and it has never helped with any scar, just keeps my skin soft. I don’t buy anything OTC, all I am using on my face is Dove soap, recommended by the Dermatologist, who wants to do a chemical peel.
I don’t have active acne, just scars.

Hello. I have a niece who is 14 year old and she is putting on foundation just to cover up her acne scars. Is this alright?? or is she too young to put on any make up?? if it is alright, what do you reccomend to cover up acne spots and scars without causing any more pimples??

I finally got rid of my acne but now I can see my scars more than ever and they are making me almost as unhappy. Is there anything I can do? I know of laser treatments but does anyone have first hand knowledge of there being a noticeable difference? I use maballine mineral foundation right now and I use clinique pore minimizer and that helps a bit but it adds to the cakey-ness of the face. I’m desperately seeking smooth skin so any advice would be great.

I just went to the dermatologist for the first time and i got some pills and other stuff to try and if that doesnt work she is going to put me on accutane straight away so im excited of course. I have unfortunately some scars from acne on my chest and back. Not like the pocket ones just like marks. Will accutane help the scars as well? And if not what are my other options for getting rid of the scars? Thanks guys
