ive always have had girls that are physcially attracted to me i would have been able to date most of them, the only thing that stops me is because i have a secret from basically everyone, they may find me attractive from the outside but under myself i have really bad scars from acne on my body that ive previously had years ago, but i don’t have that much actual acne, and the thing is i feel comfortable enough with my body that i wouldn’t be afraid to take my shirt off if i didnt have scars, but even if a girl found me attractive on the outside once she saw my body shed prb go running, and that’s why ive been single for so long, i thought about getting some sort of laser surgery, because its mostly scaring, i know insurance prb wouldn’t cover it because its considered a method of plastic surgery in my cases, but my doctor said it might be bad enough that i could get some sort of operation that insurance would cover, and if i did have surgery without insurance covering it how much would laser surgery cost because its basically on my shoulders chest, and upper back, so it’s a fairly large area

I recently had a really bad breakout on my face that I went to the dermatologist for. It’s all better now except for the red marks left behind. Are there any suggestions on acne scar creams that someone recommends I ask my dermatologist for?

on my back mostly n on my chest too theres a big one.. its from scratching the nodules n bustin them it was a few years ago, im on accutane now and no more acne but the scars.. really embarassing .. and i wouldnt mind leavin the shirt off 2 get these farmer tan away.. any scar ointments or anything to make them go away? something from the local pharmacy?

i used to have a lot of acne really bad severe cover my whole face now its mostly gone i do get a few pimples every now and then but now i have a lot of red marks and scars i call them crater scars because they kind of sink in and it looks like i have patches of skin that need to be filled in what can i do besides laser treatments that can help this?

I am 39 and have acne scars, not as bad as some but enough to bother me. I took accutane when I was a teen and it first came out. It worked splendidly and I had no scars or acne until I was 21 and got pregnant, 3rd time, and started to break out again. I did not with the other two pregnancies. So I started taking accutane again and it didn’t work that time and I don’t break out anymore but the scars are painful reminders and I hate makeup. Does anyone know of anything, by trial and error or trial and worked, if there is something I don’t know of that will help, not completely take them away. I know that is impossible and I am not getting a chemical peel. My aunt did and it was PAINFUL and didn’t do anything good at all. Please only intelligent answers, this is a personal thing and I don’t let it bother me around people but it does bother me when I look in the mirror. Thank you!
Been there and done that with the Vitamin E and it clogs my pores and doesn’t help, I use cocoa butter all over my body and it has never helped with any scar, just keeps my skin soft. I don’t buy anything OTC, all I am using on my face is Dove soap, recommended by the Dermatologist, who wants to do a chemical peel.
I don’t have active acne, just scars.

fractional laser therapy, chemical peel or microdermabrasion, what are some rules that you must adhere to during the healing period? Like, can you still use daily skin products i.e Proactiv during that time, go outside, wear sunscreen, advoid any food products, etc.

I’m a guy, 26, and it’s been so long that I’ve given up all hope. Not even laser surgery worked out because after a few months I’m looking the exact same. I do still get a little acne, but my permanent scars and the redness that goes with it seems to be something I’ll take to the grave. Is there NOTHING left? And just so you know, I’ve taken accutane, prescriptions, blab blah blah..please don’t patronize me. It’s a rare case for sure cause I’ve seen many people with acne/acne scars, but nothing as bad as mine.

I have heard that this works, but I am looking for people who have actually tried it. I am desperate. I dont break out anymore, but I need to get rid of scars and dark spots. I cant afford laser treatments. Please tell me your experiences. Thanks!

Looks like puberty really likes messing with people. I have been getting pimples a lot lately. So to combat this I am always scratching at my face leaving scars and dark marks everywhere. Now at this point I am regretting it. Is there a way the clear this up or at least cover it up?
