Question by cut3iswh4tw34imfor: Is there any way to prevent acne scarring after a scab has already formed?
I know ‘prevention is key’ but what happens if you’re like me and have a tendency to pick at things and then you get a nasty scab over what was originally just an annoying little pimple? Is there any way I can counteract the scarring?

The scab is fine.. Just don’t rip it off (that’s what causes the scarring)

Wait for the scab to peel by itself, I popped a lot of pimples on my face(my parents LITERALLY forced it on me) and I just wait for the scab to fall off so if I pick it, it won’t peel my skin off too XD

Its totally fine if you get a scab, you will not get a scar unless you continue to pick the scab! So let it heal itself, and you’ll be all good
