Is There Any Solution To Getting Rid of Acne Scars On Your Face?
I will definitely consider laser in the near future, but as of now, are there any topical or over-the-counter pills/creams/etc that could get rid of acne scars? How good are they compared to laser?
Also, how much does laser cost to get rid of all the acne scars in general? I just have a handful of them on my cheekbones

make up lol
There are some acne scar creams. you can go to drugstore.com and search for them. a lot of them are rated by users and you can choose what you think may work for you.
Vaseline lightens acne scars very well.
-Epidermx II Microdermabrasion Cream
-Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Mark Fading Peel
-Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Visibly Even Skin Polishing
The larger the area, the more time needed to treat the area and so, the price goes up. For minor acne scars, you can expect to pay between $600-$1500 for Fraxel treatments, while more extensive scarring covering the entire face could require between $2500-$6000.
Additionally, your geographic location and your physician’s credentials will also dictate the overall cost for the laser treatments.
Uh… foundation covers up most scars.
If it’s bad, go to a dermatologist. I have tons of acne scars on my chest, back, and some on my face. They’ll warn you about the affects of leaving it on too long (on the face), but they’ll perscribe Tazarac.
Tazarac is pretty harsh; if left on your face too long you can get burn marks, but usually you wash the area, put it on for half an hour to an hour each day, and then wash it off (right before bed is usually the best time).
But they’ll usually tell you make-up covers the best without any sort of possible aftermath (aka it’s powerful, good stuff but you have to be careful).
Try one of these products. One of them will definetely work for you.
Mederma (it takes about 2 or more months to see dramatic results, but it works)
Neutrogena Advanced Solution Acne Mark Fading Peel (It works great too, but you can only use it 3 times per week. So be patient with it)
Vitamin E oil/olive oil (If your face rejects chemicals, then go for these, they work wonders)
Fresh and Natural Aloe Vera (IT HAS TO BE FRESH AND NATURAL OR ELSE IT WON”T WORK!!!)
