Help with severe acne problem and accutane please. Opinions Please. Need help!?
I have been suffering from acne for a long time. Not just little whiteheads that go away. I consistently get cystic (under the skin pustules that get swollen and red) acne and they have left really bad scars and I am really self conscious about it. I eat pretty healthy and I exercise and I am wondering about Isotretinoin (Accutane). If you think its worth it? Experiences?

I would recommend Acneace!!!!
I used it, and after 1 months, my acne was COMPLETELY gone!
Hope it works for you.
you can get From Google Search Acneace Official site. Good luck.
i would not recommend it. if you look it up on the internet there are many side affects. to me, it isnt worth it. you should go to the dermatologist and ask what they can do (if you have not already done this). instead of accutane there are other pills that can help acne. one of them being doxycycline. try this pill out for some time and if it doesnt work talk to your doctor. accutane should be ur last resort(if your skin doesnt clear up for three years or so and is very bad despite everything you’ve tried). once your cystic acne is completely gone, you should try getting microdermabrasion as it helps lighten scars. good luck with everything!
I am shy already, and I had acne, i had every kinda of acne in the book, I wouldn’t look at people, i would hide my face with my hair, and pick at my skin and make it worse. it was horrible, it was life ruining for me.
I took accutane, and it has been 8 months since I have stopped taking it. My skin, is crystal clear. and I can’t even begin to explain, how confident it makes you, no paranoia, no worrying,or anxuiosness about what you look like.
here’s how it went for me.
go to your skin doctor, or get one, whatever go to em, and they will check you out blah blah.
you hav to take an ipledge program, to make sure you will not get pregnant, they are really anal about that, and once a month you have to have a blood test to make sure you are not pregnant, and to make sure the acutane isn’t harming your liver. if they see anything happening with your liver enzymes they will take you right off of it. it sounds harder than it is. it’s just to make sure
•go to doctor
•get prescribed accutane
•blood test once a month
•pick up new box of accutane once blood test get the ok
•take it each day for 6 months
•get clear skin.
it’s a miracle, who knows where i’d be without it, i would probably still be hiding my face and be self concious, it’s so strange to really think about how outgoing it has made me to have clear skin, it’s empowering. you can look up all the scary side affects, but they’re not as common as people like to say, the only people who complain about the side affects are the affected
all that happens, is your skin becomes dry, and your lips get chapped. but i thnk that’s way worth it, good luck!
I was on Accutane for over a year, and it made very little difference. My dermatologist kept telling me to stick with it, but the super dry, flaky skin, occasional blood noses, dry scratchy eyes and other possible side-effects caused me to look for something else.
You should definitely look into this clinically proven, holistic skin care system. The testimonials speak for themselves. I suffered from cystic acne for years, and had the scars to prove it. Whilst the scars have not disappeared all together, they are greatly reduced. It is not very expensive, and definitely worth it if like me, medications and creams have had either not effect or severe side effects.
Mild to moderately severe acne may be treated with over-the-counter gels, lotions, and creams such as benzoyl peroxide which is applied directly to the skin. Oral antibiotics may also be prescribed to reduce inflammation while oral contraceptives have also shown to improve acne.
In episodes where acne is extremely severe, another oral medication known as Isotretinoin (Accutane) is one of the most effective treatments with successful results. However, all these medications can cause negative side effects and it is important that you inform your health practitioner or dermatologist immediately.
It is also important to develop a good skincare routine that involves cleansing your skin in the mornings, evenings and after workouts. By adjusting your lifestyle and incorporating a healthy diet, exercise, drinking lots of water and getting adequate sleep will also help to make a significant difference to your skin’s appearance.
Herbs have proven to be a more natural, gentle alternative for the treatment of acne rather than the harsh, synthetic chemicals used in over-the-counter products and conventional medications. Not only are herbal remedies safe and effective to use, they also support the skin, immune and digestive systems.
Herbal ingredients such as Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil), Azadirachta indica and Arctium lappa contain antibacterial, anti-fungal and antiseptic properties and are not only effective for acne but for other skin conditions too. Other herbs such as Aspalathus linearis (Rooibos) and Bulbine frutescence have wonderful antioxidant and healing properties and also help to prevent skin infection and provide ongoing relief. In addition, Lavender Essential Oil acts as a circulatory stimulant and antiseptic, and is used to treat burns and wounds and to prevent scarring.
Homeopathic ingredients like Causticum hahnemanni, Carbo vegetabilis, Hepar sulphuris calcareum, Silicea help the body to expel all foreign or toxic matter such as pus of acne. They treat acne on the face, neck, shoulders, back, and other affected areas, fight off bacteria that causes pimples and blackheads, improve the appearance of bumps and flaky, irritated skin, speed up new skin rejuvenation and removal of dead skin cells, & encourages routine regulation of skin oils for acne prevention.
