Has anyone applied vitamin E directely from the capsule to smooth acne scars?

I have heard that this works, but I am looking for people who have actually tried it. I am desperate. I dont break out anymore, but I need to get rid of scars and dark spots. I cant afford laser treatments. Please tell me your experiences. Thanks!

Mederma (sp?) or something like that works better than vitamin E. Also, over time they will fade on their own.

nope, it doesn’t work much compared to topical ascorbic acid or copper peptide.
To reduce or remove shallow and pitted acne scars the best at home treatment would be to exfoliate using glycolic acid or 1-2% salicylic acid to slowly remove damaged scar tissues. After exfoliation, you apply either topical ascorbic acid or topical copper peptide to allow the rebuilding of new collagen and healthy skin cells. As you can see it is a 2 step process and the process should be repeated for several months. Topical ascorbic acid and copper peptide also helps reduce
the darker scar coloration and redness imparted by acne scars.
