epiduo acne cream does it help with acne scars and blackheads?

my doctor gave me this gel for acne on the 29th of july. i was wondering.. does it really work? people are saying that you need to apply sun block.,. is that only when your in the sun ? i use the gel every night and the first couple day i had burning syptoms but they went away.. does that gel help with black heads? and what about acne scars?

My doctor gave it to me too and so far it’s been helping with my acne.
Acne scars, yes.
Blackheads, not really.
I don’t know about sunblock though. I guess?
Well, I am not sure what kind of acne solutions that your doctor gave you but I suggest you to ask the doctor him/herself due to your skin irritation that you had before.
