does any regular scar medicine work on acne scars? are there any home scar healing remedies?

   i had the same problem probably over a month ago, till i came upon a wonderful face mask that works great, all you would need is a 1/4 cup of rice, 1/2 cup of water and two egg whites,
   1.cook the rice till its moist
   2.let it cool
   3.mix in a bowl with egg whites
   4.smash it, so it becomes a paste
   5.put it on your face from 10-15 min
   6.and rince with warm water
   -you might want to do this about 2 to 3 times a week, it works FANtAZtiC.

   Unfortunately getting rid of acne scars is not as easy as just applying some ointment and no, regular scare medicine does not work for acne scars, in fact regular scar medication could make your skin a lot worse. The only “home remedy” that has show any ability to heal acne scars is a dermaroller. However, this increases your risk for infection, and there’s no guarantee it will actually do anything.

   Dermarollers are small roller like objects (vary in size and shape) that have small needles on the heads. The heads create micro-tears in the skin, which is supposed to spur collagen production, which in theory heals scars.

   There are several ways that are guaranteed to get rid of acne scars though:

   *Surgery to cut out the scars (Ice pick scars)
   *Botox and fillers injected into the scars (Flatter “crater” scars)
   *Laser treatments (“craters”)

   Those are the three basic ways to get rid of acne scars. All of which require a visit to the dermatologist.
